Job Description Job Description Job Title: Lube Technician -
Quick Lane SUMMARY Lube technician must be able to assist with
vehicle maintenance and light care like oil changes and tire
rotations. Also assisting in quick care maintenance such as tire
repair, various lubricated system flushes and providing a complete
multipoint inspection of our client's motor vehicle. Essential
Duties Job Responsibilities - Perform multipoint inspections
Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs Communicate additional
service/repair needs to service advisors Check tire pressure
Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants Drain oil from
crankcase and refill with the required amount of oil Add water to
radiator and battery Replace oil and air filters Perform
preventative maintenance on all Nissans models Receive training on
Ford diagnostic equipment Train alongside a Ford Master or Senior
Technician Keep your bay and work area clean and any other duties
needed Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards
and codes of conduct Follow dealership safety procedures to avoid
exposure to fumes, dirt, and harsh chemicals Qualifications Ability
to learn, apply and comprehend instructions from Management and
Technicians. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or
general education degree (GED); or one to three months related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
and experience. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend
simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to
write simple correspondence. Ability to read and interpret
documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions and procedure manuals. Reasoning Ability Ability to
apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two
step instructions. Ability to apply common sense understanding to
carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in
standardized situations. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid Driver's License Physical Demands Use their hands to handle,
control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Bend or twist their
body. Stand for long periods of time. Repeat the same movements.
Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl. Walk or run for long periods of
time. Able to lift excess of 50 pounds Work Environment Work both
indoors and outdoors. Are often exposed to hazardous conditions and
equipment that may result in minor injuries. Work in cramped
workspaces that require getting into awkward positions and inside
vehicles, such as trucks, cars, and vans. Are frequently exposed to
contaminants, such as antifreeze and chemical degreasers. Almost
always wear protective gear, such as goggles or earplugs. Are often
exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting and
uncomfortable. Sometimes work in extremely bright or inadequate
