Job Summary Northwest Career College is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician Instructor who must have at least three years of work experience in a pharmacy setting as a licensed Pharmacy Technician or pharmacist. Roles and Responsibilities

• Teach pharmacy technician courses according to the lesson plan and syllabus and as directed by the program supervisor.
• Assist students with difficult concepts in tutoring sessions.
• Grade student lab activities and practical examinations.
• Maintain a daily record of student attendance.
• Attend faculty meetings, in-service meetings, graduation ceremonies, and other events as required by the College
• Dress professionally in accordance with faculty dress code
• Communicate effectively with diverse populations, both verbally and in writing
• Perform miscellaneous administrative tasks and job-related duties as assigned.Experience
  • REQUIRED: 3+ years of non-overlapping experience in the pharmacy field
  • REQUIRED: 1+ years of experience in a hospital pharmacy settingSkills and Qualifications
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
    • Knowledge of and ability to apply relevant current education methodologies and techniques License/Certification
      • REQUIRED: Current Pharmaceutical Technician License, Intern Pharmacist License, or Pharmacist License.
      • REQUIRED: PTCE [PTCB CPhT Certification] (within 75 days)Education
        • REQUIRED: high school diploma or equivalent Job Type
          • Full-Time Schedule (daytime hours required)
            • Monday: 8 am - 7 pm
            • Tuesday: 8 am - 7 pm
            • Wednesday: 8 am - 7 pm
            • Thursday: 8 am - 7 pm
