Operations Response Advisor, you will embed with, advise, and
provide the subject matter expertise (SME) in support of DoW
strategies and incorporate higher level guidance into planning and
operations. Determine impact on current operations and prepare
policies and procedures accordingly. Keeps abreast of new/revised
policies, procedures, regulations, directives, and legislation in
order to inform planning efforts, operations, and decision making.
Determine need to develop and issue policy plans and instructions
for proper integration and implementation. Establishes and
maintains a steady state awareness and preparedness to be able to
conduct initial mission analysis in support of crisis action.
Plans, organizes schedules, and coordinates studies, projects, and
tasking via the agency tasking system. Formulate critical support
to Joint Staff and CCDR OPLAN, CONPLAN, and other emergent tasking
which involves complex analysis and coordination of capabilities
and options/decisions needed for providing that support.
Participate in exercise, crisis, and steady-state operational
planning teams that deal with high level, strategic guidance that
must be synthesized into Support Plans for supported component and
combatant commands. Responsibilities: Serve as a portfolio SME
responsible for executing and coordinating crisis-response planning
efforts that directly support the joint force, CCDRs, and
interagency. This involves supporting Operational Planning Teams as
the SME with membership from multiple Agency Directorates and Staff
sections that conduct complex mission analysis and development of
courses of action in both exercise and real-world events.
Qualifications: Required: Current Top Secret/Specialized
Compartmented Information Security Clearance. Must be able to work
independently with some government oversight and function
effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
Experience working in Cross Functional Teams, Operational Planning
Teams, and other groups that aim to bring disparate capabilities
together to achieve military effects. Periodic travel to support
requirements. You must possess the ability to effectively
communicate both orally and in writing. You will be able to provide
daily feedback to the team lead and supported unit on product
development. Willing to work rotating shifts if needed Associates
degree and five years of experience or seven years of relevant work
experience. Desired: Experience and in-depth knowledge of the
Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), to include mission
analysis, COA development and CONOP approval briefings, D3A
execution matrices, CONOP documents and FRAGOs. Experience
developing processes that enhance situational understanding of WMD
threats and enabling DoD, IA and IC efforts focused on WMD threats.

factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited
to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor
categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience,
specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
