facility.WHAT YOU'LL DOAs the Sr. Manager of Manufacturing, you
will be responsible for overseeing all areas of Supplement
Manufacturing to produce our incredible products and lead a world
class team in direct activities so that products are manufactured
on-schedule and within quality standards.OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulates and recommends manufacturing policies and programs
which guide the organization in maintaining and improving its
competitive position and the profitability of the operation
- Develops and manages the manufacturing plan and establish
procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing
operations to ensure products conform to established standards and
GMP's
- Recommends and implements strategic changes in manufacturing
and operations strategy
- Ensures that employees and managers have the required safety
training and are consistently working in a safe manner; develops
and implements safety programs to reduce accidents and injuries
- Ensures standards for product quality, equipment and operator
performance are maintained and that production is continuously
maximized
- Keep current on information and technology affecting functional
areas to increase innovation and ensure compliance
- Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within the
job scope
- Contributes to and supports the corporation's quality
initiatives by planning, communicating, and encouraging team and
individual contributions toward the corporation's quality
improvement efforts
- Provides leadership, communication, and coaching to employees;
cultivates a motivated employee environment of trust, teamwork,
accountability, self-confidence, and business ownership
- Ensures that operational supplies are on hand and available at
all times
- Ensures plant operations comply with federal, state, local,
and/or company policies and regulations
- Basic competence in subordinates' duties and tasks
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within
constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at
all organizational levels
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound
decisions
- Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying
problem areas and taking corrective actions
- Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assignedWHAT YOU
BRING
- Bachelor degree preferred in a technical discipline or
equivalent work experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience at the management level in a
fast paced environment
- Deep experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical is
required
- Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating
subordinates
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and
functional level
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Must have excellent verbal and communication skills
- ERP software experience
- Ability to interpret data, manage to manufacturing standards,
communicate and resolve variances
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities and
tasks

ENVIRONMENT
- A large percentage of the time is spent in the production area
where noise level can be moderate to high
- Duties are performed primarily in a smoke-free office and

- Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch,
balance, and reach
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
