Silver State Schools Credit Union (SSSCU) is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer (SVP/CFO) to join our Executive Leadership Team and help shape the financial future of a trusted member-focused institution.

With more than $1 billion in assets, SSSCU is committed to our mission of providing " Excellent Member Service and Financial Solutions - For Life. " The SVP/ CFO plays a vital role in advancing this mission-overseeing the financial health of the credit union, guiding strategic investment and ALM decisions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mentoring high-performing teams across Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Electronic Services, and the People Over Profit (POP) Foundation.

What You'll Do:

S erve as a strategic partner to the President/CEO, Executive Team, and Board of Directors.

Lead financial planning, Asset/Liability Management (ALM), budgeting, and profitability analysis.

Oversee GAAP-compliant financial reporting and regulatory filings (including Call Reports).

Chair the Asset Liability Management Committee (ALCO).

Guide the POP Foundation's fiscal strategy as part of our broader community impact mission.

Provide thoughtful leadership, development, and coaching to a talented multi-department team.

Represent the credit union to auditors, regulators, and other external stakeholder(s).

Lead Investment Services for SSSCU.

What We're Looking For:

A Bachelor's Degree in finance or a related field is required. A Master's Degree is preferred. A CPA is highly desirable.

7-10 years of executive-level experience in a financial institution of similar or greater asset size.

Strong command of GAAP and Regulatory Accounting Principles (RAP ).

Deep knowledge of credit union or community banking operations, investment markets, risk management, and liquidity managem ent.

A collaborative leader with exceptional communication skills and a heart for service.

Expertise in financial systems, including Excel, ProfitStar, Moody's CECL, and ALM tools.
