Primary Responsibilities:
PCC MEETING as a back up to the LPN (ER/Admit review)
Co-Facilitate Lunch and Learns for the Back office staff
Rooming, discharging, visit close, ancillary
Genesys (AM & PM review)
Meeting/huddle with management team
Mentorship/Resource to staff (Provider New Hire binder)
Clinical Preceptor(Onboarding, access)
Supply/Medication/Lab/Airgas Ordering in conjunction with the LPN
HEDIS Focus in conjunction with the LPN
Daily tasks (Touchworks/AR/Issues/Concerns)
Staffing assignments (input only)
Standard work audits including Peer to Peer
Quarterly Audit Prep in conjunction with the LPN
Clinic initiatives (New, re-enforcement, review)
MA Recruitment in conjunction with management team
Back up for QC's/EKIT/Temp log (double check if they are being done and being done correctly)
Back up staff coverage (Unplanned or planned PTO, STD, FLMA)
Report management in conjunction with the LPN

The pace is fast and you'll need to be comfortable managing multiple priorities. You may be required to work in multiple locations, so scheduling flexibility is essential. You must also be able to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Current, valid nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification
Current CPR and/or BLS certification
2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Knowledge of medical terminology
This position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor's diagnosis of disease
Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) language proficiency
ICD-9/10 and CPT coding experience
Microsoft experience
Travel (if applicable) Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to client and/or patient sites within a designated area

Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for Nevada residents is $15.77 to $27.79.
