Unit Notes:o Modules are required to be done before start of assignment. Modules take on average 12 hours to complete.
**Cerner Experience Required**
- Unit: ER
- # beds: 45
- Certs: TNCC,ACLS,BLS,NIH-stroke PALS required
- Ratios: 1:4
- EMR: Cerner
- Charge Nurse: 24/7
- Nurse Aides: 2-4 per shift
- Weekend Requirement: Yes-4 weekend days a month
- Holidays: yes
- Scrub Color: Navy blue
- Tele: Yes
- Vents: Yes
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes
- IV Team: No
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Shifts: 7a-7p, 9a-9p,11a-11p,1p-1a, 3p-3a, 7p-7a
- Floating: Yes (could be floated to sister facility)
- Floor specific orientation: Yes 1-2 days
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Medical, trauma, respiratory,
- Additional Notes: Level 3 trauma, stroke, chest pain, pediatric
Cancellation may cancel up to 3 times per contract. Each cancellation could be a full shift or any part of a shift. (Hospital may also pay full hours for a particular shift, in lieu of cancellation).
