These may include surgical assisting, inpatient management, preoperative and postoperative evaluations and staff/patient education. In addition, the incumbent oversees the day-to-day operation of the function, ensuring that standards of care are met and that all required daily checks, chart documentation meet standards as well as daily call to patients. The NP's are granted privileges as outlined by the Medical Staff Bylaws and their privilege list. The position reports to the Director of Surgical Services. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

• Critical thinking skills and computer skills required
• One (1) year acute care experience
• Masters Degree - Master's degree required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and NP
• RN in the state of Nevada
• CT NP - Nurse Pract - State
• CT ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support-Nat'l
• CT CPRBLS - AHA-Basic Life Support-Nat'lPreferred Qualifications:
  • One (1) year surgical scrub experience desired.
  • ANA Certification preferred.
  • RNFA certificate preferred
