We are currently looking for an ambitious Registered Nurse (non-critical) for our ED Hold Position: Registered Nurse Non-Critical - ED Hold - Fast paced Accessing, diagnosing, determining, if the patient coming in from the ED will be admitted or discharged. Med Surg Tele level of care with 1:6-7 ratio. Department info: 9 physical beds and 5 Hallway beds, 18 Vertical Treatment locations. Shift: Full time Days (7a-7p) and Full time Nights (7p-7a) is available. POSITION SUMMARY (includes, but is not limited to): The Registered Nurse as a Staff Nurse performs the functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients. Meets Standards of Care and Standards of Practice. Supervises assigned personnel. Promotes collaboration with physicians and personnel of other departments. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients served. Demonstrates knowledge of principles of growth and development over life span and possesses ability to assess data reflective of patient status and interpret appropriate information needed to identify patient requirements relative to his/her age specific needs. EDUCATION: Graduate from a school of nursing BSN Preferred, AACN National Certification Preferred Attend Trauma Informed Care course as directed by Manager/Director LICENSE/CERTS: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nevada Current BLS Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Certificate required or within 90 days' of hire/transfer.
