• Employment Type: Travel1. General job duties. -Types of procedures required. -Caring for 5 to 6 patients that require in-patient hospitalization for medical or surgical issues/procedures.2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.Pyxis medication station, Meditch charting, Alariz IV pumps, remote telemetry system.3. Required skills and minimum years of experience. - - - -Minimum of at least 1 year acute care, EKG competent4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)ACLS, BLS5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? -If so, how often? Are weekends required?) -Most be willing to work every other weekend or one weekend shift per week. -Weekend shifts are Saturday and Sunday. -On a unit with up to one other nurse and LNA/UC.6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)All med surg remote tele units on 2nd floor and 3rd floor -Occasional float to PCU (required) if needed7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.2nd floor has 4 units, 2E = 20, 2S = 14, 2C = 23, and 2N = 17, -3rd floor has 3 units CDU = 20, 3N= 20, 3S = 238. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)5-6:19. Dress Code:Navy blue10.
