*Omni Wound Physicians (OWP)* is seeking a dedicated *Medical Doctor (MD)* to join our expanding mobile wound care team in Nevada, serving areas including *Las Vegas, Pahrump, Carson City, Gardnerville*, and surrounding regions.This *field-based clinical position* offers flexible scheduling, diverse procedural opportunities, and the chance to make a significant impact by providing hands-on wound care services to patients in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), assisted living centers, and private residences.*Why Join Omni Wound Physicians?** *Flexible Scheduling:* Opportunities for both part-time and full-time positions.* *Supportive Structure:* Deliver care within OWPs coordinated clinical and administrative system.* *Field Assistant Support:* A Field Assistant (CNA, EMT, MA, or similar) is assigned to assist with documentation, wound photography, logistics, and non-clinical support based on territory and clinical needs.* *Compensation:* Competitive pay plus mileage reimbursement.* *Onboarding:* Comprehensive training, including clinical shadowing, systems orientation, and workflow integration.* *Mission-Driven Team:* Committed to providing accessible, high-quality care for medically complex and underserved populations.*Key Responsibilities:** Evaluate and manage complex and chronic wounds, including pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, and surgical wounds.* Perform wound procedures such as sharp debridement, NPWT management, biopsies, and g-tube assessments.* Document visits and procedures using secure mobile EMR systems.* Coordinate patient care with facility staff, caregivers, and OWP internal teams.* Provide occasional urgent or weekend visits based on business needs (e.g., g-tube malfunction, wound deterioration).* Travel daily to patient locations; mileage may vary and may exceed 5070 miles depending on provider home location and assignment.*Minimum Qualifications:** *Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)* with an active, unrestricted *Nevada medical license*.* DEA registration preferred but not required (or willingness to obtain).* 35+ years of clinical experience in wound care, surgery, geriatrics, or internal medicine.* Proficiency with bedside wound care procedures.* Strong documentation skills and familiarity with EMR systems.* Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.*Work Schedule:** *Part-Time:* Minimum of 2 days per week.* *Full-Time:* 30+ hours per week.* Typical hours: *7:00 AM to 6:00 PM*, though this may vary based on patient volume and routing.* Weekend and PRN coverage may be requested based on urgent patient needs.*Service Areas:** Las Vegas* Pahrump* Carson City* Gardnerville* Henderson* North Las Vegas* Additional surrounding areas as assigned.*Benefits Offered**Full-Time Team Members (30+ hours/week):** *Medical Insurance:* 90% employer contribution toward team member-only plans.* *Dental and Vision Insurance:* 50% employer contribution toward team member-only plans.* *Paid Time Off:* Accrued vacation and sick time.* *Retirement Plan:* 401(k) with employer match.* *Professional Development:* Clinical onboarding and shadowing provided.*Part-Time Team Members (minimum 2 shifts/week):** *Paid Sick Time:* Accrued based on hours worked.* *Retirement Plan:* 401(k) with employer match.* *Professional Development:* Training and mentorship opportunities.*Licensure and Continuing Education:** Physicians must maintain an active Nevada medical license and comply with all continuing medical education (CME) requirements as stipulated by the Nevada State Board of Medical Examiners.*Disclaimer*This position description is intended to convey essential information about the scope of the role.
