Job DescriptionWe are interested in developing long-term relationships with superior instructors who have high professional standards, excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and a commitment to providing the finest practitioner-focused education.We are seeking primarily Industry Professionals to share their knowledge and experience with undergraduate BSN nursing students on-site inLas Vegas, NV.Anatomy & Physiology I-IV with Lab (BIOS-251 thru BIOS-256):This is a four-course sequence in which human anatomy and physiology are studied using a body systems approach. Coursework emphasizes interrelationships between form and function at the gross and microscopic levels of organization.Topics include:

• Basic anatomical and directional terminology, muscle tissues, fundamental concepts and principles of cell biology, history and the integumentary and skeletal systems
• Fundamental concepts and principles of the muscular and nervoussystems, special senses and the endocrine system
• Cardiovascular, immune and respiratory systems
• Digestive, urinary and reproductive systemsCourses may meet once per week or twice a week for eight weeks. The face-to-face interaction in lab and classroom is blended with technology (such as online discussions and online assignments) for an enhanced learning environment. Commitment is on a course-by-course basis.Location - Las Vegas, NV Days - Monday: Lecture 6pm - 9pm and Friday: Lab 6pm - 8pmResponsibilities:
  • Develops and provides students with an approved Adtalem Global Education syllabus that follows a template established by the local campus, and which includes the terminal course objectives.
    • Organizes, prepares, and regularly revises and update all course materials.
      • Uses appropriate technological options for online technologies and course-related software, including Websites, e-mail, and online discussions for preparing the course and making it accessible to students.
        • Models effective oral and written communications that engage the students, provide clarity, and improve student learning.
          • Sets clear expectations for the course by publishing course terminal objectives, assignment/examinations dates, and weight the distribution of various evaluation categories.
            • Ensures that the content and level of material included on exams correspond to the course terminal objectives.
              • Demonstrates consistency and fairness in the preparation and grading of exams and provide timely feedback to students.
                • Completes other duties as assigned.

                      • Earned a master's or doctorate degree in Anatomy & Physiology with a minimum of 18 or more graduate credit hours earned directly in Anatomy & Physiology
                      • Areable to provide official transcripts for all earned degrees from a regionallyaccredited institution and/or, for degrees earned outside of the US, a course-by-course US equivalency evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator
                      • Have taught or been told you're a "natural" at teaching and helping others learn

                        In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment, depending on the candidate's education and experience.
