Providing a helping hand. Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrap booking, gardening, games, etc.) Prep meals for your clients to enjoy Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior Why be a Senior Helper Caregiver? Caregiver Qualifications: Must have a driver's license, valid auto insurance, your own reliable transportation, clean driving record and willingness to drive a reasonable distance. 1 year of field experience as a PCA or Home Health Aide is preferred but we will train the right candidates Must be able to pass State and Federal background check & drug screen Must get a current TB and physical prior to beginning work with us (We are running a hire bonus to help with costs) Must obtain CPR & First aid certifications (We can help with this) Must provide 2 personal and 2 professional references Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Willingness to learn new skills to better the lives of our clients Proficient communication skills Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned Who is Senior Helpers?
