We are seeking a board-certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician for a locum tenens assignment in Nevada. This opportunity begins on Feb 16, 2026, with a 120-day assignment involving 24-hour shifts. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in a community pediatric emergency department and must currently be clinically active. Job Details - Location: Nevada - Start Date: Feb 16, 2026 - LOA: 120 days - Provider Type Needed: Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician - Schedule: 24-hour shifts; ongoing availability required Responsibilities and Duties - Evaluate and manage acute pediatric conditions such as anaphylaxis, broken bones, asthma exacerbations, poisoning, and mental health emergencies - Provide emergency department care for pediatric patients - Respond to urgent and emergent medical situations within the pediatric population - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Additional Information - Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine required - Minimum 5 years of experience in a community pediatric emergency department required - Must be clinically active within the past year - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - NV license or IMLC eligibility required - Completion of prescreen questionnaire required Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
