Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARYHenderson, NV - We are seeking a PRN Registered Nurse at our Henderson, NV Levi Strauss clinic. Our standard hours of operation are Mondays, 7:00am - 4:30pm PST, Tuesdays, 7:30am - 5:00pm PST, and Wednesdays, 8:00am - 12:00pm PST. No call or weekends. This position provides clinical support by triaging clinical phone calls, facilitating prior authorizations, and processing prescription refill requests. Communicates with remote clinic providers, nurses, and patients in order to provide cohesiveness across all clinic sites. Performs lab tests and procedures, directs patient flow, and supports clinical operations. MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS1 Appropriate licensing for Registered Nurse within the state of practice2 One to three years’ work experience in a related field ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe description below is intended to depict the general content and requirements for the performance of this position. It is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities or requirements. 1Perform vital signs, lab tests and procedures promptly and accurately; Report unusual results to Provider (Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician) immediately. 2Maintain efficient patient flow from check-in through check-out process, including but not limited to cleaning and restocking exam rooms and triage area after each use 3Travel as required to provide coverage for remote clinical sites.3Maintain lab equipment, procedural instruments, supplies, and reports as required by CLIA4Support the Nurse Practitioner and provide assistance as needed with population health management tasks.5Perform medical care duties within the scope of practice.6Schedule and compile patient records. Document clinical and health information accurately and in a timely manner7Assure that lab results are appropriately managed and documented. 8Retrieve outside data as needed for proper treatment of patients.9Interact with patients, staff and others in a positive, caring and respectful manner that supports the professional standards of the Clinic and Vigilant Health.10Participate in clinical quality improvement projects.11Other duties as assigned.
