General Surgery opportunity in Missouri - Located in Nevada, MO - Springfield, MO 95m - Full-time, Permanent position - Seeking BE/BC - Competitive Compensation and BenefitsAbout the Facility: - 71-bed acute-care hospital - 24-hour physician staffed emergency department - 108-bed long-term care center - 40-bed Alzheimer's care center - 1 rural health clinic in Rich Hill, MO - 2 local health clinics in Nevada, MO - 24 physicians on our active medical staff - 45 physicians on our consulting medical staffIn 2003, a three-story addition was completed on the north end of the hospital. The new patient tower houses the Emergency Department and Ambulatory Care on the first floor, performance therapy and Obstetrics on the second floor and Medical/Surgical Unit along with ICU on the third floor. The construction project is part of a $17.2 million commitment to centralizing outpatient services on the first floor for better customer convenience.Located in southwest Missouri, Facility is an intensive and skilled care hospital situated in Nevada, a community of 8500 residents.
