It's your career, Shelter it!Customer Service Training Specialist$55,546 starting payJob Level: Individual ContributorWhat You Will Be Doing:Will be responsible for training all new and existing employees within the department including classroom training, remote training, e-learning, and self-directed learning. Present training in a way that engages and motivates employees. Use superior communication skills to establish rapport and overcome objections in the classroom. Manage curriculum development projects from conception to implementation, identify training needs, develop training strategies, make decisions on course developments based on department needs and goals and administer the learning management system (LMS). Work closely with management, the Quality Assurance team, and other departments to ensure training curriculum is up-to-date and effective.What We're Looking For:Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to generate rapport with a wide audience of people and a demonstrated ability to communicate information and ideas clearly, and concisely, in writing and verbally.Proven leadership, teaching/facilitation, and creative problem-solving, develop interactive learning solutions, and capture an audience.Excellent time management, organizational, and project management skills to juggle competing priorities, assignments, and projects.Ability to obtain/maintain a P&C producer's license.Innovative, highly motived self-starter with an interest in self-development.Above-average aptitude for technical troubleshooting and excellent computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.At least 2 years of experience in a call center and/or training environment and basic knowledge of adult learning needs, strategies, curriculum development, and administering of a learning management system (LMS).Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.Shelter's uncompromising commitment to excellence doesn't stop with our customers.
