Core Job Responsibilities: The Busser is the backbone of the restaurant and provides integral support to both front of the house and back of the house, ensuring a memorable and seamless guest experience. The Busser will assist the server by ensuring that every guest’s needs, and special requests is met. Primary Job Duties: – Includes, but is not limited to: Greet and welcome all guest in a professional manner. Maintain service stations and perform assigned side work duties before, during and after shift. Restock the dining room and side stations with cutlery, condiments and linen. Deliver beverages, including alcoholic options to guests. Maintain communication with other team members and front door staff. Assist your neighboring team member with service. Rotate to other Food & Beverage outlets/venues, as necessary. Ensure all ¡VIVA! core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied. Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing. Use personal device/ cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required : At least one year of previous Busser experience in a similar or related field. Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to effectively communicate in English. Polished appearance and demeanor. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures. At least 18 years of age. Preferred : Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting. Previous experience in a high volume venue.
