communityPOSITION OVERVIEWAs a clinical trainer for P3 Health
Partners, you enable the care of our patients by ensuring our
clinical staff is well trained and skilled. You are responsible for
the behavior and skill development of our people in our clinics,
which is enabled by the development, design, and revision of
curriculum, implementation of training backed by lesson plans, tip
sheets, and other resources used by our employees, and a range of
deliverable according to established standards and guidelines set
by P3s clinical operations leadership team.You work collaboratively
with IT. Clinical Operations, Finance, People Services, Clinical /
Medical leadership, and other key stakeholders to assess and
integrate operational workflow considerations when defining
training needs and planning the curriculum and training materials.
You own and lead the in-person training of our new hires across
applications and skill-areas as needed. Your scope of
responsibility is all P3 Markets, including, but not limited to,
California, Nevada, Oregon, Arizona, and Florida.As a clinical
trainer you will track and report assessment outcomes to clinic and
operations management. This will be done by assessing needs;
creating curriculum andkeeping current; delivery of informativeand
engaging training sessions through the appropriate media; and
assessing for understanding and effectiveness in on-the-job
application. The successful candidate will have exceptional written
and verbal communication skills as well as group presentation
skills. The person will have a thorough understanding of how to
train the adult learner.This position reports to the Sr. Director
Clinical Operations and has dotted line reporting accountability to
the Vice President of Human Capital and Org Development to
collaborate on learning measurement, design, learning
administration, and delivery.The incumbent in this role is ideally
located in Las Vegas, Nevada but may live in one of our other
markets or in the United States mainland. The role is a hybrid
position requiring in-person work at our office or clinics, as
needed, and a travel requirement of 30-40%.KEY RESPONSIBLITIES FOR
THIS ROLEThe successful candidate in this role will lead and manage
new hire clinical onboarding and training, continuous development
of programs to support operational effectiveness and the clinician
experience, and some CME program administration and execution as
needed. The following are the primary accountabilities for this
position:Accountable for the delivery and achievement of Clinical
staff learning & development outcomes and associated performance
and behavioral factors.Assess and analyze training needs through
shadowing, auditing, surveys, and consultation with managers in
each of the P3 markets.Design, develop, deliver, and measures
clinical training for designated clinical roles and P3 markets.Act
as a resource to P3ers in the Medical Group for questions related
to performing specific job functions.Coordinate, lead the delivery
of, and measure Clinical Operations New Hire orientation and
onboarding curriculum for clinical staff in P3 market.Lead OSHA
safety and training in the clinics.Assist with the execution of
training administration, management, and CME expense
tracking.Support the development of best clinical practices through
outcomes improvement using ongoing quality and continuous
improvement methods, and curriculum and program development and
delivery for clinical staff.Clinical TrainerDUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESDelivers in classroom training and on-site; must
demonstrate a dynamic presentation style, professionalism, and
trouble-shooting capabilities. Incumbent must have experience and
the ability to effectively navigate LMS technology and the ability
therein to create classes, take attendance, complete classes,
administer course CME and other educational expenses, set program
budgets, track program expenses, etc. Other responsibilities
include:Actively monitors and participates in quality improvement
activities to support the best practice standard of established
workflows.Creates, updates, and continuously improve training tip
sheets, playbooks, handbooks, job aides, and other documentation as
assigned.Applies knowledge of adult learning theory and flexibility
in training techniques which reach audiences of varied backgrounds
and learning styles.Responsive, flexible, and open to change in
training materials on short notice and other duties as
assigned.Leads the design, development, delivery, and measurement
of Clinical new hire training in each of the P3 markets.Chooses and
evaluates training materials and delivery methods, such as live or
virtual trainings, slide decks, recorded training modules, quizzes,
etc.Makes training materials and job aids readily available via
appropriate delivery channels.Coordinates with Regional Medical
Director regarding curriculum based best practices
seminars.Organizes and schedules training for all new clinical
staff.Develops training curricula, to include managing content and
curricula updates.Recommends and utilizes appropriate vendor
programs meeting instructional goals and objectives.Selects and
develops training aids including training handbooks, demonstration
models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference
works.REQUIRED SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of teaching and/or
corporate training experience.Registered Nurse experience
preferred.Must have exceptional verbal and written communication
skills, and experience speaking in front of groups.Must have
excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.Ability to
multi-task, manage tight deadlines, and work under pressure.Depth
and skill in managing multiple stakeholders at different management
levels.Must have strong critical thinking and analytical
skills.Must have good problem solving and decision-making skills
along with the ability to exercise sound judgment.Utilizes data to
identify and improve training programs.Participates in cross
functional teams to solve system issues.Advanced proficiency of
Microsoft office applications; professional user of training
applications and remote communication tools.Experience developing,
loading, testing, and delivering training through a learning
management system (LMS)Knowledge of healthcare industry, clinic
environments, medical terminology, and workflows.EDUCATION
REQUIREMENTSNursing ADN or BSN degree or similar clinician degree
