Job Description:

Silk Screen Printing Technician The Silk Screen Printing Technician reports directly to the Printing Supervisor. This role will be fully responsible for all aspects of the Silk Screen printing and capping operations within the facility. Primary responsibilities include. 1. Initial implementation/start-up of 2 Shenfa multi-station silk screen printing machines. 2. Initial implementation of all capping and visual inspection equipment and implement operational best practices & procedures for the printing department including. a. Set-up manuals b. Quality Control procedures c. Changeover and line clearance 3. Developing a departmental infrastructure with other technicians and operators 4. Working in concert with the purchasing team to secure inks, coatings, & screens for optimal changeover and general machine set up. 5. Work with the Tool Room Technician for change over efficiency and general component storage 6. Working in concert with the Art department and Ink Lab Supervisor to develop best in class tube printing processes. The ideal candidate would have experience in the printing/manufacturing industry, specifically with silk screen decorating equipment. Related experience from the label printing industry could also apply.
