JOB CODE: (181111) Coordinator - Infection Prevention LOCATION:
Clark County (NV) Located in Clark County, this 450+ bed hospital,
part of one of the nation's largest and most respected hospital
networks with more than 81,000 employees nationwide, is seeking an
Infection Prevention Coordinator (IPC) with experience in a 400+
bed acute care hospital, to join their team. The hospital features
emergency services, a busy maternity department with an average of
450 deliveries per month, a Children's Medical Center with a NICU,
a Pediatric ICU and separate Pediatric ER, Advanced Cardiovascular
Care, Surgical Services, Women's Health and Oncology Care. It is
also an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI facility and a
Primary Stroke Center, which has received multiple awards from the
American Heart Association Get with the Guidelines Program. The IPC
is responsible for assisting with implementation and maintenance of
the Infection Control Programs hospitals surveillance. Serves as a
resource to all hospital departments, participating in identified
projects or groups related to Infection Control. QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Clinical Microbiology, or
other health-related science Two to five (2-5) years of clinical
experience in a health-related field At least one to two (1-2)
years of experience in Infection Prevention, preferably in a large
(400+ bed) acute care hospital CIC-certified or eligible to be
certified within two years of employment State of NV RN License,
Medical Laboratory Science, or other related health science, if
applicable The above statements reflect the general duties
