Overall Purpose

This role will support the oversight and management of all aspects of the MRA Department, managing work assignments/work queue based on chart availability and priority, productivity reports, invoice reconciliation and submission for payment, and other projects as needed.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree preferred.

A minimum of 1-3 years of healthcare experience with demonstrated project management skills.

Required understanding of health care terminology and knowledgeable/experienced with CMS revenue cycle, Risk Adjustment and HEDIS.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Leadership skills including: setting the example, motivating team to be high performers and customer service-oriented, taking the initiative to achieve the outcome

Superior skills in Microsoft Office (primarily excel)

Must possess strong project management skills, solid analytical, problem-solving, planning, communication, documentation, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail

Experience in health care insurance or health care industry recommended

Ability to manage multiple tasks, and forge strong interpersonal relationships within the department, with other departments, and with external audiences

Attention to detail is critical to the success of this position, with demonstrated competency in customer orientation and the ability to deal with ambiguity

Ability to monitor project progress and communicate interim and final results to senior management

Ability to re-engineer processes to positively impact productivity in terms of timeliness and accuracy required

Ability to analyze, interpret and communicate recommendations to senior management

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing required

Essential Functions:

Build relationships with internal and external customers, providing superior customer service while managing clinical review expectations

Insure effective and efficient reconciliation processes for work assignments and invoicing

Develop and maintain working relationships with multidisciplinary teams, staff and vendor review teams

Document the workflow and process for consistency in expectations, for the reviewers as well as internal oversight

Ability to work with multiple internal and external partners at various levels of the organization

Strong aptitude for quickly troubleshooting and identifying the cause of questionable results within extracts and reports

Possesses outstanding oral and written communication skills
