Career Opportunity:

Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Human Resource Coordinator at the Business Office in Henderson, Nevada. In this role, you will be exposed to all areas of Human Resources while providing HR support to employees, managers and physicians in a thriving health care organization.

Scope:

With minimal supervision, provides clerical and administrative support to the human resources staff. Perform various activities including screening calls, maintaining appropriate records, conducting new employee onboarding and provides general and routine assistance to employees. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards and Shared Values.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains personnel files in accordance with employee confidentiality, policies and procedures, and all regulatory/accreditation requirements
  • Assists with onboarding activities including but not limited to background checks, I-9s and licensure and certification verifications
  • Conducts new hire orientation
  • Coordinates in-house CPR process, tuition reimbursement program, and processes employee status changes
  • Screens, inquires, and answers employees routine HR questions; provides additional contact information when appropriate (e.g., benefit providers)
  • Run HRIS queries or reports, maintain logs and databases
  • As directed, schedules meetings, arranges facilities and prepares presentations and other materials. May provide administrative assistance for company sponsored events
  • Other duties as requested

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree in Human Resources or equivalent highly preferred
  • Minimum four (4) years Human Resources administrative experience required
  • Demonstrated experience working with applicant tracking systems, HRIS programs and Microsoft Programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
