JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the reception area of the salon and spa.Includes the greeting of all guests, answering phone calls, assisting guestswith questions regarding salon/spa services and booking all appointments.ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS: Responsible for checking spa guests in & out. Cash handling. Establishing forms of payment for services. Making reservations for massage. Closing books at the end of the business day. Needs to be knowledgeable of other departments services etc. Sales of spa merchandise. Attend to guests'needs accordingly by proving robes, drinks e.t.c. Answering phones,selling and upselling while scheduling appointments and checking in guests Assist guests withtheir questions regarding spa services and fitness equipment. Maintain cleanlinessof the spa and fitness center and stock guest supplies in the spa and lockerroom area. Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Reception desk and/or salon/spa experience. Cash handling experience required. Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer skills. Must be detail oriented, friendly, outgoing and have excellent communication skills Must be able to initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner. Must present a well-groomed appearance as specified in the employee handbook and the department. PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Able to stand for a long period of time (up toan average 10-hour shift). Able to handle severaltasks at once. Able to lift heavyobjects and maneuver towel bins in close quarters.
