Henderson Community College serves approximately 1,500 credit,
dual credit, adult education and workforce development students
each semester in a three-county region of Northwest Kentucky.
Henderson is one of 16 colleges in the Kentucky Community and
Technical College System (KCTCS). The college and its faculty and
staff are focused on student and community development and success.
HCC is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern
Association of Colleges and Schools. Duties: Develop, implement,
and supervise all aspects of theKentucky Skills Uprogram. Promote
and market program services to the community. Oversee program
recruitment/retention efforts. Develop targeted instruction
materials. Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal rules and
guidelines. Research and secure additional funding sources to
ensure program growth. Perform grant writing and budget management.
Recruit, hire, orient, and supervise allKentucky Skills Upersonnel.
Qualifications: Master's degree and three years of
administrative/management experience; a doctorate degree, in
administration, education, or a related field is preferred, and can
substitute for two years of the administrative/management
experience. Problem Solving: The same type problems are frequently
encountered. Checks with supervisor if none of the regularly
established procedures fix the problem. Supervisory
Responsibilities: Supervises Skills U staff. Oversight and
Direction: Receives moderate to limited supervision working from
objectives set by supervisor. Organizes and carries out most
assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions or
