Join us and start doing your lifes best work.SMThis position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our flexible hours of 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Our office is located at 102 E. Lake Mead Blvd. Henderson NV 89015.Primary Responsibilities: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of specific admission, registration, and pre- registration requirements for all areas, including but not limited to: Main Admitting, OP Registration, Maternity, and Rehabilitation Units Maintains cashiering systems Balances cash daily for in-patient, ER and all other areas that handles cash Prepares daily deposits for Loomis pick-up; posts all payments received for incoming mail Creates daily EXCEL spreadsheet to record journal entry Trains and in-services new and current Admitting staff on cashiering process, handles complex customer transactions, balances daily settlements and any new procedures Maintains and orders necessary office supplies Interfaces with the Admitting Supervisors on all problems and issues developing from admitting errors Practices HIPPA requirements and demonstrates flexibility to meet changing needs of patients, customers and the organizationYoull be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED (or higher) 2+ years of experience in Accounting and Cashiering Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (building pivot tables, writing formulas, and counting cells in spreadsheets) 3+ years of experience in hospital billing, collections, OR claims processing Ability to perform basic mathematics for payment calculation Experience in requesting and processing financial payments Ability to travel up to 100% of the time Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the flexible hours of 7:00 AM - 3: 00 PM PST Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role.
