Job Description:
Role SummaryAs a Training Program Support Specialist, you will
play a critical role in the guidance, support, and development of
our New Hire training program. You will be responsible for ensuring
that all new employees are sufficiently trained to perform their
role to the best of their abilities in order to support in our
critical response center and to provide our customers with a high
level of service. You will be a part of the design process for
short- and long-term planning strategies involving specific
department goals and objectives to enhance and improve the overall
effectiveness and performance of Rapid Response Monitoring. Design
and prepare training instructions materials, teaching aids and
devices. Perform a broad range of supervisory responsibilities over
the training specialists.COVID-19 Requirements
- Must be fully vaccinated: 2 doses of Pfizer/Moderna or 1 dose
of Johnson & Johnson, 2 weeks prior or more
- Booster shot is required 2 months after Johnson & Johnson or 5
months after second dose of Pfizer/ModernaLocation:In-office:
Henderson, NVResponsibilities
- Conduct and supervise training and development programs for
Rapid Response Monitoring personnel, including New Hire training in
a 3-week classroom format.
- Responsible for ensuring that all new employees are
sufficiently trained to process high priority alarms as well as low
priority signals prior to assigning the specialist to Central
Station activities.
- Facilitate Quality Assurance presentation to the class.
- Develop/maintain New Hire classroom training curriculum and
testing material while creating and updating operating procedures
and documentation.
- Maintain exceptional records of New Hire program details
including but not limited to New Hire information, exam grades, and
daily employee feedback.
- Coordinate new hire paperwork with Human Resources and
Licensing Coordinator, bio-metric verification procedures, and any
additional presenters.
- Distribute New Hire information and other pertinent information
to Operations, Human Resources and various department
executives.
- Assist the Director of Training/Quality Assurance in
developing/redeveloping Standard Operational Manual(s).
- Assist the Director of Training/Quality Assurance in developing
short- and long-term planning strategies involving Operation
Department goals and objectives.Basic Qualifications
- Minimum four (4) year college degree or equivalent military or
operational experience may qualify.
- Proficiency of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint)
- Ability to confidentially manage sensitive situations with
extreme professionalism.
- Advanced interpersonal, multi-tasking, and communication
skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of no less than 10
members.
- Strong, professional communication skills
- Excellent attendance recordPreferred Qualifications
- Past experience in HR, Adult Education or other classroom
instruction a plus.
- Past experience developing curriculums, development of
presentation materials and the creation of supporting
