High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., General EducationalDevelopment (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.). 2. Completion of apprenticeship or journeyman certification as a welder; or,Four (4) years experience as a welder.Licenses and Certifications1. A valid driver's license that allows the applicant/employee to legally operate amotor vehicle in Nevada. License must be maintained for the duration of theassignment.2. Copy of current driving history (dated within six (6) months from the date printed)issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles at time of application or QualifiedSelection Pool (QSP) placement and at time of interview prior to final selection.3. Certified Welder Class 4G Welder certificate.4. Physical Examination Respirator certificate. (If unable to obtain certificate at timeof application, it must be in possession at time of offer or conditional offer.)5. Current First Aid certificate from the American Heart Association, American RedCross, or other similar organization. Certification must be maintained for theduration of the assignment. Certification training must be in-person and include ahands-on component. Online courses will not be accepted. A copy of the frontand back of the First Aid certificate must be uploaded into the application.6. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator(AED) certificate from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, orother similar organization. Certification must be maintained for the duration of theassignment. Certification training must be in-person and include a hands-oncomponent. Online courses will not be accepted. A copy of the front and back ofthe CPR/AED certificate must be uploaded into the application.
