Summerlin Hospital is a 496-bed hospital featuring emergency services; a busy maternity department with an average of 450 deliveries per month; a Children's Medical Center with a NICU, a pediatric ICU and separate pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women's health, and oncology care. Serves as a resource to all hospital departments, participating in identified projects or groups related to Infection Control.
  Qualifications
  
  Job Requirements: Education:Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Clinical Microbiology or other health related science required. Master's in Nursing, Education, Epidemiology, Public Health, Clinical Microbiology or other health related science preferred.Experience: Two (2) to five (5) years clinical experience in a health related field required. One (1) year experience in Infection Prevention or epidemiology preferred.Technical Skills:Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet and database.License/Certification:Current State of Nevada License in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences or other related health science if applicable.
