position: Direct Support Professional (DSP)/Group Home Worker
provides children and adolescents with severe emotional
disturbances with the support needed to reach their full potential
on a time-limited basis through the implementation of individual
plans of care. An ideal candidate will support a patients quality
of life by taking a positive approach to their care which may
include building self-help skills, toileting skills, team building,
personal safety skills, behavioral modification, cooking meals,
community integration, or preparation for reinstitution into a

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION PRIOR TO APPLYING. Must pass a full
FBI/Adam Walsh/ and CANS background check through the Department of
Family Services. Background check costs are not reimbursed. If you
have any previous arrests within the last 7 years that are not only
limited to DUIs, CPS, or Domestic Violence you DO NOT qualify for
this position. Employer randomly drug tests (Including Marijuana )
No Exceptions Take Note: This position will require you to obtain a
full DFS County background and Reference check, Nevada Residence
fee is $45, and out-of-state residents relocating to Nevada will
have additional fees, TB, CPR, and internal testing before
beginning your contract with the agency. We do not cover the costs
for any of the aforementioned testing or clearances so some
up-front costs exist. However, we can provide 35-40 hours per week
if you meet all expectations and engage in quality services with
our clients. Job Type: Full Time Pay: $15/hour Benefits Position
Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, monitor, evaluate, and report
all patient needs while maintaining a working understanding of the
clients summary and required outcomes. Practice and teach disaster
protocols such as life, safety, and fire protection, including
Evacuation Planning procedures; accident/incident reporting; OSHA
regulations; and care of children and adolescents who may be
cognitively or behaviorally impaired. Assist individuals in fire
drills, shelter-in-place, active shooter, and disaster drills.
Maintain compliance with the company policies and procedures.
Provide direct supervision in the facility and community. Provide
skills training for patients with a positive and creative approach.
Skills training may include but is not limited to communication
skills, social skills, grooming, and community welfare skills,
planning skills, volunteering, daily living, socialization,
community involvement, and community resource assistance.
Candidates will support patients with personal assistance as
required, including but not limited to medication management,
toileting, and personal hygiene care. Candidates will supervise
children both on and off-site. Assist with organization and set up
of the daily programming and preparing needed materials and
supplies. Participate and support patients in social outings both
in the facility and in the community. Act as a role model of
appropriate behaviors for patients in various community settings.
Arrange and/or provide transportation to and from community
outings. Support clients with developing goals, assessing their
individual needs, and working toward their positive outcomes.
Monitor and document patient progress toward outcomes and goal
achievement. Maintain active communication with all internal team
members and care coordinators. Provide adaptations to
individualized activities and group programming as necessary to
teach adaptive skills. Attend all team meetings, providing feedback
and solutions as applicable to quality program development.
Complete all documentation as required (i.e., Incident reports,
medication logs, case notes, quarterly reports, assessments,
communication logs, etc.) in a timely manner as required. Maintain
HIPAA confidentiality of clients information, and participate in
all job-related training requirements. Attending all training on a
regular basis to ensure that all mandatory and personal training
and development needs are met in line with company requirements.
Perform related duties assigned as assigned by supervisor. Must
have and maintain a Nevada drivers license and clean driving record
and be 25 years of age or older. Must ensure clearance under the
Nevada Statutes with no criminal background. Ability to drive a
company vehicle in accordance with insurance guidelines and company
policy. Education and Work Experience Requirements: High school
diploma, or equivalent. Minimum of 1 Year experience in a related
field or related life experience providing direct care to
individuals with psychosocial disabilities and behaviors. Current
First Aid and CPR certification. Current TB (2 Step). Excellent
organization, interpersonal, and communication skills. Must possess
empathy and compassion for children. Ability to pass a drug test
including Marijuana. Present as easy-going but firm personality
preferred. Demonstrate respect and dignity to patients, co-workers,
and visitors. Exceptional team player and maintains morale within
the organization. Access to reliable transportation for regular
attendance. Physical Requirements Light work involves exerting up
to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, and
otherwise move objects. Involves bending, squatting, reaching, and
moving about most of the time. Heavy work involves exerting up to
50 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, and

Vegas, NV 89146: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before
starting work (Required) Must have a reliable vehicle - Auto
Insurance must be in your name or as a designated driver to the

office located at 98 E. Lake Mead Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89015
Schedule: All Shifts Available 7 Days a Week Education: High school

for Background check costs begin at $45 for Nevada residents.
Out-of-state residents will have additional costs depending on the
state.
